Azito
The facility generates approximately 290 MW of electricity at its open cycle power plant near the capital, Abidjan. The plant supplies over one-third of the country’s baseload generation to the privately owned electricity company, CIE, operating under a 24 year concession. The planned Azito Expansion Project will increase capacity of the plant without the need for additional gas. [www.azitoenergie.com]
