A new look for Globeleq

Since 2002, Globeleq has been synonymous with developing, owning and operating quality power projects in difficult markets. With the support of our shareholders, CDC and Norfund, Globeleq is more committed than ever to deliver economically and environmentally sustainable energy projects on the African continent.

We recently finalised the process of refreshing our brand and visual identity in order to more accurately represent Globeleq’s business strategy. Our new logo is being launched on 1 March, 2017, after which we will roll it out across the company.

We believe that this logo, symbolises the critical role Globeleq plays in Powering Africa’s Growth. While there are stylistic synergies with the original logo, the ‘Africa-arrow’ icon is an obvious demonstration of the company’s business focus. The graphic elements of the new logo are purposefully simple yet sophisticated, clean and minimalistic; reflecting our approach to building sustainable businesses.

All of us at Globeleq are excited with our new corporate image and we look forward to continuing our journey to Power Africa’s Growth by adding more grid scale capacity to the continent.
