Longe has more than 20 years’ experience in both the public and private power sector, having worked for Enron, AES, NBET (Nigeria Government), Black Rhino and now with Globeleq.
Longe’s specialist expertise in project development and plant operations has seen him responsible for the negotiation of several Power Purchase Agreements and Put call Option Agreements in Nigeria for thermal and solar plants. He has also worked as the Director of Technical Operations and Commercial at AES Nigeria Barge Ltd, a 270MW floating gas power plant.
Prior to joining Globeleq he was the Director of Business Development at Black Rhino for the the Qua Iboe Power Plant (QIPP).
Since Joining Globeleq as the Director of Business Development, Longe’s focus will be to continue to develop the QIPP project, as well as to continue to grow the Globeleq Power Solutions Nigeria (GPSN) business by partnering with distribution companies.
Longe a plus de 20 ans d’expérience dans les secteurs public et privé de l’énergie, ayant travaillé pour Enron, AES, NBET (gouvernement nigérian), Black Rhino et maintenant avec Globeleq.
L’expertise spécialisée de Longe dans le développement de projets et l’exploitation des centrales l’a vu en charge de la négociation de plusieurs accords d’achat d’énergie et d’options d’achat et de vente au Nigéria pour des centrales thermiques et solaires. Il a également travaillé en tant que directeur des opérations techniques et commerciales chez AES Nigeria Barge Ltd, une centrale à gaz flottante de 270 MW.
Avant de rejoindre Globeleq, il était directeur du développement commercial chez Black Rhino pour la centrale électrique de Qua Iboe (QIPP).
Depuis qu’il a rejoint Globeleq à titre de directeur du développement commercial, l’objectif de Longe est de continuer à développer le projet QIPP, et également de poursuivre le développement de l’activité de Globeleq Power Solutions Nigeria (GPSN) en établissant un partenariat avec des sociétés de distribution.
